Our History
Green Agritech Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2023 in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA with the aim of promoting sustainable, agriculture and empowering farmers. Primarily small-scale and socially disadvantaged ones with technology, education, and resources.
The foundation began from a vision to merge agricultural science and innovative agritech solutions with practical farming needs. It was started by a team led by Victoria Tanoh, who envisioned bridging advanced research with real-world agricultural practices to improve soil health, conserve resources, and enhance food security.
Since its founding, Green Agritech Foundation has expanded from a local initiative to an organization working across multiple U.S. states, offering education, technology access, workshops, and sustainable farming support to communities and farmers.
Its mission centers on helping farmers adopt eco-friendly technologies and practices while improving resilience against climate challenges and fostering environmental justice in agriculture.
